The location is great and peaceful.

They isolated us because we came with a baby. It was like we had leprosy.

It was a great experience with wonderful and very dedicated staff.

A quiet retreat out in the bush, easy to find. Booked an executive suite with a plunge pool, it had a large bed and stunning views, As we were late arriving on our first day and my wife is not too mobile, the staff set up dinner on our veranda, the food as throughout our stay was fantastic. The guides were informative and knowledgeable on our nature drives.

The supper and breakfast were both superb, with gorgeous presentation. Chef Khumo does a great job! We had a game drive with Anna, who was very pleasant and knowledgable. Charity and Frans at reception were so friendly and made us feel like we were at home.

The road to get to the lodge is not in a good state. We got stuck in the loose sand and had to be rescued. That was the only negative for us

Staff was super helpful and friendly, but what stood out was the food, it was next level!

The daily choice of food and the preparation and presentation was next level, not to mention the taste

Nothing…I had a bad experience

-The rates per day are for a 5 star venue and this was definitely not close to a 5 star anything.It was 3 star at the very best…This felt like a “glamping experience” at a very inflated rate. -The outside showers were rusty and old water tap was not working properly… -The game ranges were of low quality…with close to nothing to see (we did 3 of them with the same quality). -Only one pool in the property and this was by the restaurant…the google pictures gave an impression that all rooms had a plunge pool. -The housekeeping was sub-standard at best.Details not taken care of in terms of hygiene. -The place was flooded with mosquitoes and even after complaints nothing was done instead was told to buy insect repellant.Nights were horrible due to strings of mosquitoes making noise and biting the whole night. I left the place covered in mosquitoes bites.The manager was just nonchalant about the whole thing.On the 3rd night I then told them what to do to correct the situation to spray the nets after they open them and before they close them as the mosquitoes hung on the roof of the nets.Housekeeping didn’t pay attention to this as well as the manager. -All prices are inflated for nothing… -the only compliment I will give is to the chef who tried his best as well as the other staff members who tried to make do with the situation they were faced with.The owner was nowhere in sight and it did seem as if the staff was under-trained. -The 31st crossover function was makeshift.We were promised Champagne and there was only substandard bubbly.The kids and adults were surprisingly charged the same rate??🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
