The poached eggs at breakfast were lovely

We received a call a few days prior to arrival and agreed we would have a ground floor room, we did not receive a ground floor room on arrival. We also decided to extend our stay so we had 2 bookings, this must have caused confusion as our room was not serviced for the 3rd day we had to ring to get clean towels and more coffee etc. We made use of the billards room but one cue did not have a tip and the other one was split and the room was very tired. Overall I would say the property needs some TLC.

Beautiful grounds, good location

Room was small, especially if you have a pet. It was also quite dark. Also the additional cost for bringing a dog was extortionate
