Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location for walking along Kloof and Bree Streets, which were very safe and with great options to eat and drink. Front desk was very helpful with making dinner reservations, safety tips, walking directions, etc.

Cadogan Hotel! WOW! It was a privilege to stay here and be pampered by the wonderful staff. The rooms are luxurious, with the most comfortable king size beds. We loved the amenities provided and the little touches of care and kindness. The afternoon and evening goodies, the honesty bar, the iced bottles of water all added to the luxurious atmosphere. As with many services, it is the staff that make the place and Cadogan should be rightly proud of all the staff - attentive, friendly, helpful and always happy to go the second mile. We would always come back to this hotel and are already looking to plan a return later this year. Thank you all at Cadogan you are a class act.

Few probs with tv in room and on initial arrival was stuffed around with ‘room being ready, oh no it’s not ready’Just needed clarification by receptionist not mucked around Then along came Yanick and Wilfred These front of front of house guys are amazing Restaurant Upper Union within the complex was brilliant Swimming area superb

Parking availability was a problem with times

Stunning hotel in central Cape Town. The decor is amazing, rooms very spacious and comfortable. We were very lucky and grateful to receive a room upgrade. We had room No. 3 and it was beautiful with french doors out onto a spacious balcony from both the bedroom and the bathroom area. Breakfast was very good, staff were all very friendly making it a very enjoyable stay. It was only a short stay of 2 nights at the end of our trip so will definitely return next time we are in Cape Town.

The Team at Cape Cadogan have truly nailed hospitality. Venessa and the team all go above and beyond to ensure you have a stay to remember. The attention to detail in the hotel from the plants in every room, the hand painted walls in every room, the products left for guests to use, to the exceptional breakfast you experience at the next door Upper Union really makes your stay nothing but exceptional. This boutique hotel is able to create a home away from home, considering nothing but comfort to ensure a memorable stay. The location of the hotel is ideal as you are walking distance from some of the best cafes and restaurants in Capetown. The neighbourhood is safe and the hotel has the lovely Joel who is able to assist with parking. This is a place I will definitely be returning to and couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly!

Hotel is 3/5 stars. Rooms are instagramable but missing certain touches that are pretty obvious. The pros: Rooms are tasteful. Shower is great. Towels are good. Bed is comfy. Grounds are nice. The cons: Street is noisy. Hallways noisy. We had 3 rooms Everyone was woken up either by staff/guests/street noise. No sheer curtains in rooms so if you want sunlight and want to walk around topless it’s an issue. No Concierge. Porters and reception welcoming and attentive but don’t know much about the area so very much DIY. Gym is a joke and needs major facelift. Treadmills antiquated. No other machines. Just some free weights. Better off having a partnership with a local gym for guests and converting that gym into another hotel room. Breakfast decent but service a bit in the clouds and not attentive.
