Quiet but close to the Strip

I enjoyed the ambiance and relaxing quality of the hotel.

From the moment we arrived at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, we knew we were in for something special. The property is absolutely stunning — luxurious, elegant, and perfectly designed for both relaxation and fun. The location couldn’t be better! We were just steps away from all the excitement of the Strip when we wanted it, but also tucked away in a serene, private oasis whenever we needed a break. It was the perfect balance, especially after a busy weekend exploring Vegas. The pool area was immaculate, with such a relaxing vibe, and the cocktails were truly on point. The staff throughout the property went above and beyond — their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made every moment of our stay even more memorable. A special shoutout to the house car driver and pool staff for making us feel so welcomed. Every detail exceeded our expectations. I can’t recommend Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas highly enough, and I can’t wait to go back!

This hotel has a great pool and spa.

We chose this hotel for a 3-night stay to celebrate a friend's retirement. Got the Panorama Strip View One Bedroom Suite, which was fine. Room lights were weird, basically requiring you to turn on or off all lights at once with an electronic wall touch panel. The hotel has no casino, and restaurants are very limited, so basically this is a place to stay, but not to party or dine. Zen Kitchen has a very stale, bad odor that needs to be fixed; you will smell it as soon as you exit the 3rd floor elevators, which you must do before you can access upper floors. Couldn't bring ourselves to eat there. Adult pool is nice, and the servers/attendants are very helpful and friendly. Our main problem was this: we stayed here because it was non-smoking and had no casino. We were given suite 901. It smelled so badly of cigarette smoke, including in the drapes, that I developed a migraine and my wife got a sore throat. We never could have tolerated this horrible room, so we asked to be moved. The hotel accommodated our request and the remainder of our stay was fine. But a word to you nonsmokers: DON'T accept Room 901.

After a long day of travel, the Waldorf was exactly what we needed. We ordered room service and honestly—everything hit the spot. The pizza, charred octopus, brown butter cookies, and cheesecake were all fantastic. Comfort food with a touch of luxury. Everyone we interacted with was kind and welcoming, which really made the experience even better. I especially loved having the Nescafé in the room—just wish we could’ve stayed more than one night to enjoy it all a little longer. Overall, a short but memorable stay. Next time, we’ll definitely plan for more nights!

I booked the City View One bedroom suite, it was very spacious and beautifully appointed. We liked the view from this room. This was my first time staying here since it was taken over from mandarin oriental, I preferred MO brand as the ambiance was slightly lacking somewhat in comparison. The checking in experience was better when it used to be on floor 23. Otherwise you have to take 2 sets of elevators to get to your room, which seems a bit odd now. The only negative was that the pool was quite windy, I’m not sure whether it was just the weather that day or if the pool is in a bit of a wind tunnel. However, they couldn’t put the umbrellas up so it got hot very quickly. We couldn’t stay out long. It looked like such a lovely pool area too, with comfortable loungers. We tried the bar on 23, it had the most beautiful panoramic view of the strip. Even though we had a child with us, they accommodated us for drinks in the tea room area. Highly recommend a visit. This was a highlight for us.

Spent two nights here with girl friends playing mahjong and relaxing. Such wonderful service from arrival to departure. The food was excellent and we enjoyed quite a few cocktails too! Afternoon tea was also delicious and fun. We are already taking about a return trip. It’s my favorite way to do Vegas. Quiet, clean, safe with amazing views and service!
