Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

The Waldorf Astoria is the perfect hotel for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas, while still being able to enjoy nearby top-notch dining and entertainment. My husband and I used our American Express Fine Hotel & Resorts benefit when booking and most of the perks were given to us! We unfortunately were not upgraded, but we were able to access our room around 1pm, rather than having to wait till 4pm. They had a nice printout of all the benefits for FHR guests, and mentioned that since we're Gold members, we had the option of getting $50/credit on top of the FHR benefits OR receiving an extra 1000 points. Luckily we could decide which to pick at the end of the stay! (We ended up choosing the points since we didn't spend quite enough to use the credits). The room itself was gorgeous and well-stocked. Housekeeping was great and even offered turn down service. We also enjoyed room service one morning and the service was quick (we were eating within 30 mins of placing our order) and gracious. We spent most of our Saturday at the pool. The service there was great for the most part, I think toward the middle of the day, the servers were a bit overwhelmed with the number of people so things got a bit slow. This is definitely a pool for the relax and read a book crowd, not a party crowd (which was perfect for us!). Our trip was capped off with a drive to the airport by Walter, the Waldorf's towncar driver. He was so knowledgable about everything around Vegas, I was disappointed we hadn't had a chance to use his services earlier in the trip! The only minor complaint I have is the service at the lounge on the 23rd floor. Since we arrived early, our room wasn't ready yet, and the front desk mentioned that the 23rd floor had great views, we headed up there hoping to sit and enjoy the view while figuring out which casino to go to. The hostess working there was quite rude and said that the couches were only for people who were eating or drinking, which under normal circumstances makes sense, but it was 11am on the dot (opening time) and literally no one was there. So we ended up at the pool in our street clothes, but that worked out totally fine because the service there was great! If you're looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle, I would highly recommend the Waldorf.

Schmale Betten welche die Nacht ungemütlich macht. Trotz Anmeldung war das Einchecken nicht sofort möglich. Das Personal reagierte auf die Wartezeit mit kulanter Grosszügigkeit.

Being honest, given the location, I didnt expect much from this hotel. Everything was great though. Despite being a large premises, the staff do a great job. The spa is really nice, massages are great and the concierge was very helpful when we wanted to book a helicopter ride. Breakfast is quite expensive but the service and food is great.

A very nice property, pool is quiet and the staff is excellent there, thank you to Jasmine for taking such good care of us❤️. We have stayed at this property several times and like that is not that typical Vegas hotel, much more upscale with a professional staff all around. Only negative was that we needed to leave a day earlier than booked due to a family issue at home and gave the hotel a notice 2 days prior to us leaving and they still would not give us a refund for the night we never used. I understand hotels have their policies but for a loyal customer traveling with a special needs daughter I would have hoped they could have made an exception under the circumstances but they chose not to. Still a great hotel if you want a quiet professional setting in Vegas.

Valet is mandatory $45/night.no self parking. A little expensive but location is good. Ease of check in was appreciated. Staff was friendly. To get to room you have to snake around the building and transfer elevators. I didn’t care for that. Too many turns. Started with a high floor but needed up getting moved to bottom floor due to air in pipes from water repair the first night. The room was comfortable but top floors are noisy if you’re a light sleeper. If you need a quiet room stay low. Views were nice in both rooms. Lots of towels and a robe with walk in closet was great. Ordered room service and it was delicious. Cafe main floor is good too. Overall not bad but not great. Beds were not as firm as I like them to be. I liked that I could text front desk for things. Good response time.
