Candlewood Suites Temple by IHG

Reserved a king sweet a week before. Checked in, after waiting 30 minutes for staff to get out of bathroom, and was told reservation could not be guaranteed and gave us double single bed room.

I booked an accessible room because my sister had been in a wreck and was in a wheelchair, I assumed that it being accessible and it’s saying that the bathroom was wheelchair accessible that it would have a walk-in shower, which it did not. It did, however, have a shower chair that really was not safe to use, it would not latch firmly onto the tub and was not very sturdy. Luckily, we had brought our own shower chair just in case it should really be put in the description if it’s an accessible room that it is not a walk-in shower but a bathtub.

Room was not I requested. I am a very tall man and my feet hung off of the bed. I booked a King size bed and ended up with a queen.

Horrible experience. The hotel stinks. There is strong smell to urine and dog's poop. They overcharged . I asked for the rate and later the charges were higher. If you stay a week or more they don't clean your room. I was charged $204 per night for a stinky, dirty room with no breakfast.. I overheard several people complaining about the extra charges at the desk. DO NOT STAY!! There are better hotels close by.

I was there with my wife for medical reasons. We stayed 3 nights at this location. The best part of our stay was the quietness. We almost never heard the guest, and the location is far enough away from traffic that it is very quiet. The room was clean, but the hallways had trash scattered up and down the hallways. Not once did we see the hallways being vacuumed, and the trash we saw one day was always there the next day. The other issue is the entrance is up several steps, and it's very difficult to get up and down especially with luggage. I will say, the young woman at the front desk was truly amazing. She is what made this stay as nice as it was. This motel should double her salary because she represents the place better than anything else.

Updated and large rooms. Kitchen area made it easy if you wanted to save some money by not eating out.
