Hale Springs Inn

The rooms are great very comfy and lots of towels very clean.

There was very little interaction with staff. The staff all seemed to be busy sorting out events and the restaurant. The breakfast offering was very poor there is a lovely restaurant downstairs but the breakfast room upstairs is small and unwelcoming. It is not really fair to say you offer breakfast when this just seems to be leftovers from the restaurant. We were ordered quiche and Swiss roll. Thos hotel seems very expensive for what it offers amenity wise. I decided to stay in non chain hotels on my 3 week stay and they all offered great value for money except here. We also came in very late one evening and wanted a lie in to be woken at 9 with loud hoovering outside the room when check out was not until 11. On leaving there were no staff around they were attending to an event. This was a disappointing last night after 3 weeks of fabulous independent hotels.

The restaurant at the property is AMAZING. I didn't stay for breakfast, because I had an early work day, but don't sleep on the dining options.

Wednesday night is "Singo" at the restaurant ... like Bingo but with songs. You should GO, but if you don't, you will still enjoy it upstairs in your room. LOL. I'm a light sleeper, so the traffic on the small 2-lane road outside the hotel did stir me several times. That and the limited parking are THE ONLY tiny drawbacks.

The history

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were all very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable! Looking forward to coming back!

Next time I will ask for a room without such a loud exhaust fan/light in bathroom.

We enjoy having access to a restaurant and bar on premises and quality is top notch as well as the wait staff and bartender. Wish the the was open a little later.

Same old chairs as in prior years. Very hard to get up out of and they seemed a little dirty The room with the twin beds. The TV did not work. Seem like it could not connect to the internet bad signal.

Lunch outside was excellent on such a cool breezy day. We thought the traffic noise at night was excessive but then we were in the Andrew Jackson suite above Main Street
