Hotel Savoy

Spent 3 nights here. Reception staff were pleasant, polite and spoke English. Good range of breakfast items from the buffet. Room was comfortable. I had a pleasant stay.

Hotel is fine, location is a bit ropey due to the local red light district.

Pro: only 5 min walk distance from the main train station Con: (1) Located in the red-light zone; (2) I booked double room but it is actually a twin bed put together with twin quilts (small one that can hardly cover the full length of an adult) (3) The room is small

Great attic room after a lift then a set of stairs. Large room airy well appointed. Breakfast was good. Close to the railway station.

Stayed for two nights, everything was nice, but nothing special. The breakfast included the basics without being extra exiting.

Staff was very nice and room was very clean. Nice hotel! However, it is based in a very noisy area, so if you want to sleep, don't stay here because of the constant car alarms going off, people talking on the street and doors constantly opening and closing!

No air conditioning, small rooms but ok for an overnight stay. Would not choose this hotel again with family. Hotel is located in an uncomfortable part of town. Breakfast ok. Staff not very friendly.

Comfortable hotel, close to the centre of Hamburg with a very good breakfast and accommodating staff (all be it prone to surliness). My wife and I found the location interesting (in a good way) especially a kebab shop called Batman.

The staff treated me well and gave me great advice about what to see. It is very close to the sights and shopping. The room was clean and I had some packages of gummy candies as a welcome. The beds were a bit hard. A pleasant surprise was the attached movie theater with new movies in English. The one downside is that the street has a number of adult entertainment establishments on it which made me feel concerned as I was traveling alone. I had a good night's rest, it was quiet. As it was a one night stopover for me, it was perfect for what I needed.
