Hotel Savoy

Over all it was good. The neighborhood is okay, not too great, in terms of crowd. Many shops and restaurants close by. Haubtbahnhof (main train station) is very close - 3 minute walk. It comes quite handy. I traveled with my wife and 2.5 years old. The only thing I did not like was that there was no air-conditioner in the rooms. So if it is too hot (which was when i was there), then its not a good experience. Decent breakfast buffet.

Good value hotel. If you don't mind the noise outside then it's great. Central location for seeing the sights..

The breakfast was good!

The hotel itself was fine. Installation of fans in the rooms would be an asset. The location of the hotel was on a busy, noisy street. It was noisy especially at night. Distance to the centre of town was very good, great for sight seeing.

The hotel is strategically located, only about 5 minutes to the main train station. The room was clean, the bed cosy and the WIFI signals were good. The breakfast was okay and met the normal standard of a 3 - star hotel. To my wife and I, who are first - time tourists in Hamburg, the hotel and its services met with our expectation and considered it as Good value for money

Receptionist wasn't very helpful in check in, no breakfast info, held our bags as our rooms were not ready but no luggage tags or safety as cupboard was open in reception. Beds were fine although twin beds put together rather than a double and awful thin pillows. Non of the staff seemed happy or friendly. Area was handy for the Ubahn but a bit shady of a night.

Had a good holiday, the Hotel was nice and clean, breakfast was first class the only down side was, NO BAR.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was located close to the main railway station in Hamburg. It is in a noisy area so the option is to close the window and boil in your room or leave the window open and be disturbed by the noise. Having said that the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was well organised and plentiful. Very tasty. So overall a comfortable hotel and despite its location it was safe and secure. I would stay again as the hotel is good value for money and an easy walk to the exhibition centre - about 30-40 mins depending on how fast you walk

Low rating for things beyond their control but which, still, meant I had a godawful time sleeping. During the day, my room was like a oven; and at night, the noise outside my window did not stop until after 2 or 3 in the morning. Not their fault, but with ceiling fans, which could be easily installed because of the very high ceilings, things could have been better. Staff were very nice. Breakfast buffet was a beautiful and tasty spread. But since I'm there to sleep, I rated it low.
