Friendly family run B&B with beautiful canyon views. Peaceful out of the way but close enough to beaches, horseback riding with Malibu Riders in Zuma Canyon (don't miss Kristy's for lunch), Getty Villa & Getty Museum. Room was comfortable with a private bathroom with a small shower. The optional daybed was a bit squeaky but our 7 year old slept peacefully. Common areas had artwork by one of the owners and her daughter. Very talented family. Different seating areas were available so if there were several families staying you could always find a quiet spot. Some outside seating is available. Breakfast was made by one of the owners and his son and is done in seatings to allow for time to enjoy a hot breakfast with conversations with the host & guests about things to do and see along with the history of the area. Beautiful place to stay. Would return!
Nice home. Rude unwelcoming staff (home owner children). Rushed breakfast and counting the bites. Too many rules. Children not welcome, told to keep quiet. Had a hard time feeling safe due to remote location and staff being strange.
We really enjoyed staying here. Our room was great with a comfy bed, and we felt very welcomed by the family. Home cooked breakfast was a nice touch.

The last section of road to this B&B is a bit challenging, and the neighborhood is surprisingly dense with houses, but that should not discourage visitors. The Topanga Canyon Inn is a delightful place to stay. It is family owned and run with care and attention to detail, the house is beautifully designed and a great place to relax and breakfast was the best of our entire trip. For those who prefer a more secluded experience, the adjacent state park offers hiking trails into the mountains.
Very comfortable respite after long international flight. The MOST comfortable beds. Clear fresh air. Quiet and relaxing. Wish we had stayed longer to do the state park hikes.
