Matamanoa Island Resort

Great week exceptionally friendly staff one of the top places we have stayed in Fiji! The food is exceptional I read they got a new chef from the British consulate in Bahrain and the food was top notch, but well priced. Lots of entertainment great atmosphere just the downtime we needed. The room and the view was perfection!

No phone in the room to order room service but not a big deal.

The Island is incredible. The water is crystal clear and the reef and fish are amazing. The resort amenities (pool, furniture and lounges, bar, tennis court, restaurant) are exceptional. The food was amazing. The staff were so friendly, happy, easy to talk to and very accommodating.

Unfortunately their massage space was being repaired, so we were put in an alternative room that didn't feel luxurious. They have a daily activities board in their foyer, but most of these activities were not run unless you specifically asked staff about them.

Loved the snorkelling and the staff were amazing and very accomodating. They run heaps of activities for everyone. Food was great and didn’t have a problem at all. We were always full. Rooms were very clean.

The breakfast was excellent.

Our room looked rather tired. Didn't like the way we had to pay the full amount a month before we arrived!!

Not over priced and comfortable. Great to disconnect from all the stresses of life. The location forces you to relax.

Not much to dislike. Simple but comfortable. We were told there would be improvements and renovations around the property next year.

Food okay but not hot enough Tea and coffee cold and very slow but the staff were lovely and wanted to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable

the resort was very tired and needed upgrading and maintenance

You feel like you’re on a luxurious remote island but it’s still very accessible from Nadi
