Everything at Spicers was beyond our expectations. The ambience, the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the decor and the gardens were absolutely incredible. We had the most wonderful couple of days and will certainly return in the future. The breakfasts each morning were superb and the staff were so polite and lovely. We found it very hard to leave!

The place is gorgeous. I enjoyed walking around the property and through a rainforest track.

The food sorry to say was very disappointing when it should be excellent at such a gorgeous place. With so many kitchen staff it was surprising they showed no sign of any professional training although they were enjoying dining themselves. Where were all the beautiful fresh ingredients that are produced in this area? Maleny has exceptional fresh food and the best ingredients and we want to see this! Maleny milk and other dairy foods are exceptional in this area as well as the highest quality meat and vegetables. This should be showcased! For example roast beef, lamb and chicken, the freshest eggs and dairy food should be the backbone of the meals here with the best vegetables available. Instead there was luke warm mixed up melanges of unrecognisable ingredients cut into small shapes and as tasteless as you can get. Anything unusual as an omelette (which is fresh cooked real ingredients) seemed to be a problem and badly cooked. Even with small things like bread and butter, the kitchen staff couldn’t have made this more unappetising, stale or commercial. There should be freshly baked bread and the freshest butter from the area. All is not well in this part of the resort, and it should be.
