Hyatt Place UC Davis

Took 3-4 minutes to get hot water. At a Hyatt? Took 10-15 minutes to get elevator from 4th floor. Something seriously wrong with design of this hotel.

The staff was just okay. The person that checked us in was friendly and efficient. But the lady that checked us out was rather rude. She saw me waiting at the front desk, but just ignored me and continued to wipe the table in the breakfast area. She could have acknowledged me and let me know that she’d be there soon. I didn’t mind waiting, but it was the fact that she didn’t even say anything to me even after we made eye contact. The hotel and room were clean enough, but not exceptionally clean. The white blankets both had some stains on them. The beds were comfortable but the AC unit was unpredictable. The old thermostat said Error so we knew we had to control it from the unit in front of the window. It got so cold in the room, we had to turn it off. But the room continued to be very cold. And there was a draft coming from the area with the couch. The free breakfast was mediocre. Nothing stood out. The only really nice thing about the hotel was the location. Being a 3 minute walk from UC Davis’ Welcome Center made it so convenient. I would stay here again if I needed to visit a student at UC Davis.

Room and bed, amazing.

Wifi wasn't working 70% of the time. Breakfast was ok, but there is room for improvement.

The front desk agent, Cameron, was kind and very accommodating.

The location is excellent! Easy access to biking/walking paths! You can get anywhere! Easy parking! Great pool! Great breakfast! Great staff!!

Staff was great, room was clean + spacious, breakfast has a good variety and tasty.

Apperently, Booking.com's reservation system doesn't communicate with hotels where you make and confirm reservations. When checking in, we were informed that we didn't have a reservation and when asked if we reserved through them or a 3rd party, we stated it was through Booking.com and that's when we're informed of this bullshit reservation system. First time using Booking.com and doubtful we'llbe using it again. Booking.com is more like Booking.nah

front desk staff was very helpful

Rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good but the eggs need an upgrade
