"Good"

The complimentary breakfast is as terrible. The eggs were cold and soupy, the home potatoes were mushy, the bread was stale and the fruit not good. The walls in he took very thin and the paint job in the room was very bad.

Nice hotel in a great location right on campus. Good pool and breakfast. Mariela at the front desk and Mama during breakfast are so friendly, warm, and helpful.

Overall it was a great place to stay. Having our pet with us and places on the property for her to use the restroom was a great deal to us. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

"My reservation was not important to Hyatt"

UC Davis Hyatt did not honor my reservation but rather bumped me for someone who wanted to stay longer. Apparently, having a reservation does not guarantee a room.

"Good location, welcoming staff"

The staff are very nice, especially Mama Elaine, who is a ray of sunshine in the morning breakfast room. The rooms are clean and comfortable and very convenient to the Manetti Shrem Art Museum and Mondavi theater.

If you are visiting UC Davis, this is the perfect place to stay. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was spacious with a desk and plenty of storage. I highly recommend it!
