Eagle Bay Hotel

The hotel is right on the main road so it's really easy to spot and it's not too far away from everything. It's within walking distance of the Langkawi fair (duty free shop) and you can see the ocean if you look through the hallway Windows. It's actually situated in a really nice area. I had two problems there which was that I had so many tiny tiny little bugs crawling over the counters and that really bothered me and one time I had a massive cockroach just chillin on the window curtains. In addition, wifi is quite poor and it's very difficult to connect to wifi if you're an iPhone user. But if you're okay with that this hotel is not bad and I'm probably sure it's because this hotel is under some maintenance. The hotel staff (Kamal) is a really great guy. He's very welcoming and showed me a lot about Langkawi and told me the histories and legend of the places. He was incredibly nice and very great. Also it's a great place to learn to ride a motorbike!

I BOOKED 2 ROOMS & STAYED HERE FOR 3 NIGHTS, OUR SECOND NIGHTS WAS BAD, NO WATER TILL NEXT MORNING ..WATER PUMP FAILURE..MANAGER WAS NOT CONTACTABLE, WE HAVE TO GO TO NEARBY MOSQUE TO USE THE TOILET & BATH..ROOMS WERE OK WHEN WE CHECKED IN. I REQUESTED FOR EXTRA TOWEL, BUT THEY NEVER ARRIVED SO, I HV TO GO TO RECEPTION TO COLLECT..SERVICE WAS BAD & POOR.SECOND DAY, WE REQUESTED FOR THE ROOMS TO BE CLEANED BUT TILL 6PM NO HOUSEKEEPING & AGAIN I HV TO LOOK FOR THEM..THEY CLEANED 1 ROOM BUT NOT THE OTHER, AGAIN, GOTTA GET THEM TO DO IT..FOR THE SECOND ROOM THEY MADE THE BED BUT THE USED MUGS WERE LEFT ON THE TABLE UNTOUCHED..TABLE TOP NOT WIPED..VERY POOR SERVICE..BREAKFAST WERE OF THE SAME MENU DAILY..LIMITED CHOICE OF FOOD..I THINK THIS HOTEL IS UNDERSTAFF...

Hotei is good as per the rate.There is no wifi for all rooms as advertised and dont expect much fron pooL. Room is clean and staff is co perative and near to all facilities such as park and eagle square and indian restaurant.

Well the room condition was overall okay especially.the.space provided as muslim we need a space to pray and you dont have to worry about that and they do provide sejadah as well..which is good.well i got the two queen beds so it was definitely a thumb ups for that as it gave comfort during night for the three of us.however,there are a few issues which not so big deal anyway like no laundry bag,the ancient furniture like didnt refurbish for quite some time,the lift..ohmy very slow..im afraid to take the lift alone,the bathroom door where u can see crack at the bottom,oh the construction site..if u stay at hotel.during the day it kinda noisy but fortunately not during the night so u can sleep soundly after the tiring day..so overall it was okay..you not gonna spend much time in the hotel anyway it only crucial at night right hahaha so this hotel okay lah.

Nice hotel especially for family trip and to stay longer.

Location ok near town...but parking space limited..

Close to jetty, Billions supermarket and the heart of Kuah, this was an ok stop over. Bed was comfy and the addition of a ceiling fan was good.
