TownePlace Suites by Marriott Panama City

I was very hesitant about staying at another TPS after my experience at the one in Gainesville. This hotel is the exact opposite of the one in Gainesville, and I’m really glad I stayed here. At the time I stayed, my future father in law had planned surgery at a local hospital. I thought he would be getting out the same day, so I reserved a room with two separate bedrooms. Due to a situation beyond my control, Dad had to spend the night in the hospital, leaving Sarah and I in this large room by ourselves. The next morning, after finding out Dad was okay and coming home, we asked if we could extend the room one more night. Marisol at the front desk assured me this was not a problem. And it wasn’t a problem. Any issues we had were promptly addressed, the staff was friendly as can be, taking time to chat with my family and I, everything worked the way it was supposed to, and the location is next door to a Target. (Sadly, my future father in law passed away two days after we checked out, and when I called the front desk to ask them what I should do with the room key I accidentally kept, I told them what had happened with Dad, and they were very saddened to hear the news and offered their deepest condolences.) One word of advice for people using GPS to find the hotel: GPS will take you to the parking lot of the Courtyard by Marriott. The hotel is directly behind the Courtyard. I would absolutely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and at a great price. On top of that, the AC blasted cold air which is important for our sleeping! Good breakfast and Maricel at the front desk was extremely cheerful. Highly reccomend!

The front desk gal was super nice. The room was nice and the air conditioner worked so well. We will stay again and let others know this is a great place to stay!

it was ok, parking was super, quiet area, very friendly staff

the electro plate to cook the glas was broken. by the door was a lot of space that you could look inside. old and used but ok

Marcella was very nice and welcoming to me. The whole staff is wonderful and pleasant. Burdo and Akpan brought me here from a difficult situation. Marcella was working the front desk and made me feel very welcome. I have stayed here four different nights and I would do it all over again.

I LOVE staying here!! The front desk staff is so friendly and kind!! Especially Marsielle!! I'm sure I didn't spell her name correctly lol!! I stay there so much the fd staff knows me by name, such a kind touch! Is an older hotel but the beds are very comfortable and the room is always very clean. Great on the go breakfast with a super sweet breakfast attendant. I could stay other places but this place feels like home to me. Comfy and quiet!

Price. The kitchenette.

My microwave was dirty apon arrival. The AC in the room wasn’t really working. The shower curtain was too high so water leaked all over the floor when we took a shower. The site sprung an unknown assurance fee on us when we arrived I had the perfect amount saved based on what the booking said and that fee was a surprise. The included scrub mommy made cleaning the provided dishes a breeze.
