Sunon Hotel

During our recent trip to Hong Kong, we took a break of two nights in Shenzhen. We were recommended by my brother to stay at this hotel. We can be more than pleased at his recommendation. The location was simply fantastic. We could find good shopping and food within walking distance from the hotel. More importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and went the extra mile to help us with directions and internet connections. The room are very clean and everything work just fine. It certainly value for money.

Easily accessible location (with a little pre-trip navigation planning), good breakfast, nice room. Recommended!

Good location for shopping and eating. Metro basically on the doorstep. Carpets could be cleaned. Overpriced for what you get.

I found the service of the hotel to be good. Can't make external calls from your room. Essentially a basic hotel with a high price tag due to location, which is the pedestrian street with a plethora of shopping. Couple minute to subway station. Numerous eating places nearby. Rooms could be better soundproofed.

I'm a regular with this hotel as I go to shenzhen every year. It used to be a good hotel with friendly staff and breakfast is reasonable good spread with good quality. Over the last 2 years, it has detoriated so much that when I went back to stay in the hotel this year, the quality of food is so much inferior. Tea is as bland as water. All new staff at both restaurant and reception. Restaurant staff do not clear plates actively and often take a while even after the guests have left the table. Why? Because the staff are glued to the 2 LED TVs in the restaurant. Housekeeping staff do not wash my used dirty coffee cup in the room. Bed is hard, small and old. Toilet bowl is old and get jammed easily. Towels are thin and wore out. Time for a renovation and provide more incentives to recruit the correct staff with better quality and training. Not worth the money to stay here anymore, I will probably try the ZTL hotel next door instead the next time I'm in Shenzhen.

Not advice stay with family or friend, There is a very bad smell in the corridor and room.

Depends on what u want. It's in good location, but the room is just ok.
