Well it is in a very good location. Clean and nice hotel with facilities that are fair. Overall price and quality match.

There were a few things as a foreign visitor that I didn’t like. It is impossible in a Renaissance chain hotel not all personnel to speak English. It is not acceptable in 2024 to be with google translator. Also, the hotel does not have a western restaurant. When a European visits such type of hotel is expecting to have familiar food. Dinner buffet is not open all of the days thus you have to find a place to dinner.

Reasonably sized and comfortable room with several downsides. First was the smell of smoke whereby I requested a non-smoking room. The in room dining menu stated it was available up to 10pm but when I called at 9.45pm, I was told it was no longer available. Lastly, my colleague who book into the same room category received fruit basket and dumpling whereas I did not have any welcome items. Rather disappointed with a hotel branding that is under Westin.

Great locations

the hotel room can be improved and is a bit old

We planned to stay for two nights for my partner's birthday weekend. We had to change rooms when we arrived as the room smelled like cigarette and the walls were damaged. The new room was a bit better but it wasn't very clean or well maintained (see pictures). The shower was dirty and everything looked worn out. After the first night the window began to leak from the ceiling and someone came to put a towel on the floor and didn't attempt to fix it or move us to a different room. At this moment we decided to move to a different hotel which was the best decision as the current hotel is so much cleaner and the staff are much more welcoming. Since it is The Westin thought the hotel would be clean, comfortable, and would have good service but we got the opposite experience. AVOID this hotel, the other hotels in town cost the same and are much better.
