The Westin Tianjin

This hotel should not carry the name of a well known international hotel chain. It was one of the worst Westin hotel I ever been too. My first room were so bad ,smily and very poorly cleaned ( it was dirty ) and equipped and I asked for a change immediately and went to a suite which was not good. All towels were so old that you can’t use them. Location was good but hotel entrance was very bad. Will never stay there again.

Generally not up to expectations of a Westin hotel, the facilities are old and didn’t age well. But mostly service was quite sad, not only not enough staff esp. in F&B areas but inexperienced or even helpless. The additional money spent for Club Lounge wasn’t well spent, actually a waste, as Lounge was full, the food ‘not applealing’ and no changes for days. At the beginning of the Happy hour there were no glasses available, the fridges for drinks empty and other bottles also empty. We would not pay for this again and cannot recommend to do so

This hotel was located in the city center, next to Binjiang walking street and a lot of malls. Next to Metro station Yinkou road. Club lounge provided decent happy hour and afternoon tea. Free breakfast at the lobby restaurant was provided to Marriott elite members. Room was a little bit out of date but still comfortable. Room view was great to see Tianjin skyline.
