lovely stay: friendly people, most amazing ranger, good food

מאוד מסודר ומאורגן, סיורים יוצאים בול בזמן - במהלכם יש עצירת קפה הכוללת גם נשנושים ושתייה חריפה, המדריך ספארי בשם סוני היה מקצועי ומעולה, פירט והסביר ולא וויתר עד שראינו את כל הביג 5. הצוות מאוד אדיב ונגיש. מנקים את החדר פעמיים ביום כדי לרענן את החדר. חדרים גדולים מאוד ונוחים.

הבריכה קטנה ולא מחוממת.

We had a fabulous stay at Holisi Lodge. We had a giraffe in the road as we approached for check in !!. The staff were all so lovely and went out of their way to make our stay very special. A shout out to Amanda who is a very warm friendly and bubbly person. All the food was cooked and prepared to a very high standard. Our lodge was comfortable we even had 2 lionesses pass by our room on our last morning. We had 3 safari trips out in our short stay and saw so many animals. We even had a male elephant walk next to our jeep which was highlight of entire holiday.

Nothing. I want to go back.

Gostei de tudo, dos safáris, das comidas, conforto e simpatia dos funcionários. Choveu durante minha estadia mas não atrapalhou em nada a experiência. Super recomendo.

Para levar nossas malas até o chalé puxaram elas pela trilha que devido à chuva estava cheia de lama. Nossas malas ficaram imundas, nem tiveram o cuidado de limpa-las. As rodas das malas ficaram inutilizadas depois disso devido ao tanto de lama que tinham. Lembrei de fotografar só depois que já tinha tentado limpar um pouco a sujeira!

Der nette Empfang mit einem Willkommensgetränk, die Herzlichkeit, das Essen war sehr lecker. Besonders toll war die Safarie mit Abbey, herzlichen Dank, wir werden sie immer in Erinnerung behalten.

Eine Cocktail Auswahl wäre schön gewesen

Our second visit to Holsi in under 2 years. YES it is that good! Fab to see many staff (and managers) who we recognised from our previous visit. We knew what to expect and, my goodness, our expectations were over delivered. Forget buffalo counting as big five (yes, I've seen them counted on S.A. tourist tee-shirts!) To mention a few.... Cheetah's, Lions, Elephants, Rhino's (both black & white) Hippo's, Giraffes' and many species of antelope and birds (not to forget the aforementioned Buffalo) can't help to impress. All of the Rangers work hard to ensure that if at all possible visitors get the best experience and to see everything on offer and although within three of our four game drives we'd seen (what I class as) the SA big five our ranger (Brian) pulled out all the stops to find where the Elephants and Giraffes' were comigrated and show us the herds together (which to us is memorable). The menu was improved from our first visit, the food was excellent, service impeccable, room (cottage) comfortable, clean, warm and the turn-down service impressive. We were asked by a new visitor why we'd come back, was it that our first visit didn't deliver? Actually, it did and the risk was the second visit wouldn't be as successful as the first, we did of course look at options but decided we'd take the risk which paid-off in spades! We would just like to thank all the staff for making our visit so specially memorable. I don't usually name names but Brian, Elvis and Monique deserve special mention.

To say it was expensive is unfair, it wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny / Rand. Is there going to be a third visit? Wait and see!

Schöne Unterkunft inmitten eines Game Reserves. Von der Terrasse lassen sich immer wieder Tiere beobachten. Essen war lecker. Auch die Game Drives waren super, haben viel gesehen.
