The Exeter Inn

The Exeter Inn was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are large with spotlessly clean and modern en-suites. The king size bed was very comfortable. There was a coffee machine and kettle in the room and plenty of provisions for a morning cuppa. The food served in the spacious dining area was superb. The landlady, Simone, and her daughter, Taylor, were on hand for any questions or needs we may have had. Lovely staff members too. Would definitely return to this beautiful gem of an Inn again. Hopefully soon!

Good food and friendly service. Room was very pleasant with a good shower.

Nice pub with lovely rooms. Showed to room and provided with fresh milk which was a nice touch. Evening meal was plentiful and tasty, washed down with excellent local beer. The room was right on the main road, which was relatively busy early evening but went quiet as the evening went on. Only thing to consider if staying here, and it’s not a real complaint, is if you are staying in one of the front bedrooms be aware that there are tables outside and people can be out there talking until quite late and as it’s a small pub it sounds like they are right outside your window. That said I would definitely stay here again.

A great little place, the room was quite hot due to the weather and opening the window did let in a lot of traffic noise however with the addition of a fan in the room would be happy to stay again and likely will.

We popped in here for lunch on Sunday 2nd June, we had the most amazing Roast Beef , service was great . Little were we to know we would be back within the hour as the other local hotel we had booked was unsuitable. All of the staff here were so welcoming and went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I can’t recommend highly enough the effort they all went too especially the manager.

Warmth and smiles from beginning to end. We will definitely be back. This is a family run hotel and they deserve all success. Thank you
