Breakfast should be included for the price I paid for 2 nights: £320 it is far too much!

When I arrived the reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The location is great near the beach and arcade, as well as local shops and pubs. The indoor swimming pool was warm and nice to have a early morning swim before breakfast. The breakfast was tasty with a large selection of food. Finally the room was comfy and came with a nice selection of free toiletries. Overall I had a lovely stay.

Booked a room with a sea view - and yes we had a sea view if you count looking over the roofs and through the trees and squinting and yes you could make it out. This was not a room with a sea view in my opinion. Was not offered alternative room or reduced rate because of this .

I stayed at the Langstone Cliff Hotel for one night with my elderly Father in May, well we were very impressed with the room we were given, it was a lovely spacious room over looking the sea , very nice indeed, it was very clean and had all the mod cons you would expect , also Sky Sports channels , also we found the hotel to be very well presented and all the lounges were very well furnished to a high standard, we didn't eat in the main restaurant and just ordered in the bar off the menu in there, only one negative comment, my father ordered scampi and chips and when it arrived the scampi was over cooked and very hard, I immediately complained to the waitress and she ordered my father a new meal and when that arrived it was perfect, ashame it wasn't like that the first time ? I ordered chicken curry myself and although it was ok it lacked any real flavour and was dry with very little sauce, such ashame as the rest of the hotel experience and bar service was excellent, we did enjoy breakfast buffet the following day, all very good and no complaints there, i did enjoy a dip in the inside pool which I had all to myself, I must admit it was the warmest pool I had ever been in, top marks and the changing rooms were also very clean and tidy, all in all I really enjoyed our stay in the Langstone however I do believe the Evening food standard let the hotel down and could be improved a little with more attention to detail, will I return again YES, because there were many positives !!

Travelled down to take my son to school since his mum moved away to the area. We had a great afternoon swimming and really good quality dinner (room service at the request of an excited 6 year old) while watching Star Wars! The view from the room with the sea and the railway line was just ideal for a small bit, and of course an excitable father!

Not sure what I expected but it wasn’t what we received, it was better! Lovely room with a tub. The comfiest bed I’ve slept in, and brilliant amenities! Thank you for a wonderful day Langstone cliff!

Lovely one night stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room basic but very comfortable. The lounge areas and terrace are superb. We enjoyed a lovely swim in the indoor pool. Food is good but a bit disappointed with the veggie burger which was like mash and peas in breadcrumbs, bland and greasy. . (bar meal & breakfast) Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his beef burger however. Breakfast was great and plentiful. I did forego the veggie sausages as they had to be cooked to order which meant that hubby would have to wait 10 minutes or so if we were to eat together, but I didn't mind too much as there was plenty of other choice for me. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would definitely go again.
