Riad Nasreen

A beautiful traditional riad in the Medina with lovely rooms and a fabulous roof terrace and lovely friendly staff. In a good location, close to the Souks and plenty of restaurants nearby. Lovely breakfast. Cute resident cat (we called Delila!) she had just had babies!

When we arrived we were welcomed by pleasant staff and given traditional Moroccan tea and cake, which was lovely. On the table were smart printed menus showing the food and drinks available and also a list of the various Hamman experiences offered here. On a later day during our stay we tried to order food but were told we should have ordered this at breakfast time! We hadn’t been told this and found this to be unusual as usually you wouldn’t need to plan ahead. Also, before we arrived, I had sent a message asking if there was any gesture that could be done to celebrate my daughter’s birthday whilst we were there, and I specified the date, and they kindly said they would provide flowers for our room, which I said would be lovely. Her birthday came and nothing happened so I popped to see one of the staff thinking they had forgotten, and they said no problem they would do as they had promised. Still nothing happened even though several staff wished her happy birthday (which was appreciated). Only a little detail but this gesture would have meant a lot, was promised, but did not happen. One evening we asked if they would mind calling a taxi for us to go to Jemaa el-Fnaa. I recently had a knee operation so can’t walk far and explained this but we were told it was better to walk as it wasn’t that far. We went and got our own taxi! Perhaps it was a language issue? I don’t want to be negative when everyone seemed so lovely. But a little disappointed.

The staff was incredibly helpful and hospitable. They made us feel at home. The rooftop was spacious with a nice view of the city.

The room was a bit small.

Necesita una renovación, y mejor mantenimiento

Viajé con mi padre y la verdad es que nos encantó, el servicio super y la locación también. Queda super central y la verdad es que lo sentimos muy seguro, el regresar y salir se nos hizo muy facil y el Riad en si hermoso. El cuarto espacioso y cómodo. Quien nos atendió fue sumamente atento y de hecho nos hizo hasta reservas, recomendaciones y estuvo atento a todas nuestras necesidades a la hora que sean. :)
