Hintlesham Hall Hotel

Slightly disappointed with the menu and it would have been nice to have had a vegetarian option. This was not offered. Staff were very friendly and safety measures in place as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic were excellent and gave us confidence. Thank you

Really enjoyable stay at Hintlesham Hall. Enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in the picturesque grounds. Would have been perfect apart from our room (Carnival) had a slightly downward sloping bed due to floor being out of level. Staff were all very attentive and friendly and overall a great place to stay.

Lovely stay in this historic building. Very nice evening meal and attentive staff. It's a lovely place but it could do with a bit of an update in places.

We took our dog. Excellent for them as there is plenty of walks, a secured patio which allowed her to roam freely and was also able to eat in the lounge with her with us. Ideal place for your dog and very clean. Loved the break and surroundings.

I loved the bedroom and the grounds. The reception could be updated and the TVs in bedroom could be bigger as difficult to see from the bed.

There was no hot water for a shower/bath the room was cold. The mattress was lumpy, it was clean enough and there Was a kettle for coffee and tea. I used the kettle to heat up the bath 6 kettles full it took. We didn’t have food so I can not comment on that.

Lovely country house hotel in lovely settings. Rooms very nice , if a bit tired. Restaurant high end so if you are looking for a cosy bar meal then you may have to visit the local pub.

Despite the late arrival due to the weather and traffic. Room was perfect and a private courtyard for our dog to explore. Dinner in the restaurant was superb and wine choices excellent. The service was excellent from arrival to check in. I am only sorry I had only a few hours at the hotel due to having to leave at 8am due to pre arrange surgery nearby as I would have loved to have stayed and enjoyed the hotel and grounds moe than the few hours I had. Hopefully I can return for this again sometime soon.

Some stains on carpet and scuffs on the wall in our room which could easily be removed to make it look much better. Edges of room needed vacuuming. Apart from that an excellent stay in a beautiful place. Staff very helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location ,staff so so polite and the hospitality was impeccable, will be coming back in the near future
