Clean and close to facilities

Was a little noisy due to the traffic going by, I live in a very quiet area, so I am not use to it

Friendly owner who greeted us when we arrived. Easy access to unit as i have a disability. nice and warm and clean.

The shower gel and shampoo dispenser were hard to operate and difficult to see which was which with soap in your eyes. They need to either be in different colors or large print on the bottles.

Room servicing was poor; We stayed for 11 days and in that time the bed was only changed and made once, the dirty towels weren't collected twice, the kitchen and bathroom bins weren't collected three times and the room was only vacuumed once. Dishes weren't done at all (not a huge issue). Also another couple things, one of the lights in the lounge area wasn't working and one of the lights in the bathroom wasn't working. The heater wasn't mounted to the wall properly. No true cooking facilities even though in the description for the motel it said there was a stove top. Very cheap toilet paper (had to buy our own).

We drove to Cranford Motel from Fox Glacier, which was about a five-hour journey. The motel was easy to find, and the staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Our upstairs suite was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We particularly appreciated the kitchenette, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary parking, which made our stay very convenient. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and the location provided easy access to major tourist attractions. During our stay, we visited the Botanic Gardens and Hagley Park, rode the historic tram, explored the city’s street art, and visited the Antarctic Centre—all easily accessible from the motel. We would happily recommend Cranford Motel to others and would definitely stay again on our next visit.
