we really appreciated the well appointed room (though no personal coffee making facility) and the delicious food . Directions for getting there are, however, way-off, and our journey was lengthened unnecessarily by almost an hour. HOtels.com should attend to this.

This is a good weekend getaway. It is about 10 min drive to lake Titisee. in a small quiet german town. Proprietor is a great chef that will prepare amazing meals and is willing to customize your order. He and his wife speek great English. There were some negative points. The walls are paper thin we could hear the next rooms every move( The people staying there were quiet). Our TV didn't work (we did not really care we were there for the outdoors).

Room was very clean and bright. Bathroom was small; wished there were hooks to hang clothes on during showers. It was very quiet during the night. Restaurant was good, lots of breakfast choices. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There was no elevator. Parking was on the street in front of the hotel and you had to go down a flight of stairs to get into the hotel.
