Everything! The building is old, elevator seems like going to break down squeaky and shaking when in use. Rooms are filthy and smelly. Not enough parking space for costumers.

The location was good for those getting off of the BC ferry in Prince Rupert. Comfortable bed

The parking was very limited. The photo of the hotel did not match the booking.com photo. The hotel is very run down and old. The hotel also has a club that had loud music and seem to cater to questionable people. The room was shabby with old furniture. The carpet was tacky and we would not walk on it with bare feet. There was a refrigerator but no microwave. The bathroom had very thin rough linens and the beginnings of mold of the shower. We were disappointed to find only a rotating portable fan for cooling. BUT the most disappointing fact was that the city of Prince Rupert had declared a boiled water notice for the town. The Moby Dick hotel didn't notify us beforehand and therefore we were not prepared for not being able to use the water. The hotel said that it was not their responsibility to provide us with bottled water for drinking or brushing our teeth. Needless to say we were very quick to leave the hotel as soon as we could early the next morning😳!!

The room smelled badly - the bathroom needed a major upgrade - the carpets in the room were old and creepy

While the restaurant itself was closed for renovations, I did appreciate that free breakfast was offered for guests. The staff were pleasant and when there was an issue with our co-traveler's lock, it was quickly dealt with. I was a little surprised that decaffeinated coffee was not available though. Coffee shops were not far away and I had a "runner" to bring me a cup.

Decor was dated, no AC, but room was clean and service was excellent.
