Food was average in taste, but the advantage was that it was covered in our booking, so we didnt have to pay anything extra.

Food taste can be better. It will be good to have a bridge or a land option to walk out of the resort. Right now, it is compulsory to have a boatman row you out whenever you need to step out.

Heerlijk resort in een prachtige omgeving midden in de backwaters. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en attent en het eten is heerlijk. De huisjes zijn erg comfortabel.aan het eind van de middag kregen alle gasten een rondvaart over de backwaters.

Les transats très peu nombreux et cassés (on m'a dit qu'ils devaient être remplacés). Mauvaises odeurs dans la salle de bain.

The location is fantastic, staff very nice and facilities were nice and clean. The one-hour boat ride through the backwaters was very very nice.

Communication can be improved as well as the restaurant. Communication: I wrote 2 days before our arrival to ask about the ayuverda treatments and if I should pre book. I got a nice email back that there was no need to do so and could just book at reception. Upon arrival we were told all time slots were full for the next two days! After speaking to supervisor they were able to fit us in but we were clearly put in a overflow room without a proper shower and place to put our things. Restaurant: food was all very nice but takes a long time to prepare. For a venue that is as remote as Kondai Lip some food should be available all day (even if it is something small like a sandwich or bag of crisps)

Stunning location, a little piece of paradise. Accomodation lovely. Lots of birds. Grounds beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. I did a bird watch walk early morning with RANJOU who was great. Perfect place to spend my last two nights in India after hectic tour and travel. You won’t be disappointed
