Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage Resort

The gardens and the lakes around the hotel were so full of amazing birds. I've never been anywhere like it. Totally enchanting. We walked to the local fishing port one morning. Fascinating. Only 20 mins walk.

We were in a room that was adapted for someone with a physical disability. So the bathroom wasn't 'normal' for want of a better phrase. Very pleased that the hotel has the ability to cater for people with disabilities, that's excellent. I found the room quite dark.

De omgeving en uitzicht vanuit het huisje. Was geweldig. Hele ruime kamer. Goede plek om bij te komen en te relaxen na rondreis Zuid-India. Je kreeg vanuit het resort een rondvaart, waar je ook de gelegenheid kreeg om zelf achter de stuur te zitten om te bedienen. Onze vlucht ging vroeg, waardoor we om 05:30 moesten uitchecken. Resort had ons een ontbijt pakket ingepakt. Echt heel attent.

Je moest je lunch en diner van te voren doorgeven en dat was prima. Maar na de maaltijden kreeg je geen bon of een overzicht . Het totale bedrag moet je bij het uitchecken betalen. Soms weet je niet meer wat je wel of niet gegeten hebt. Zou fijn als je per maaltijd een bon krijgt , voor je eigen administratie. Al moet je de totale bedrag met uitchecken betalen. Zo werd het bij andere hotels wel gedaan.

The property it self is good. But the cottage has to have more improvements for the price being asked

The cottage stay is just ok. First it has granite stone in the shower area which you can slip. Second the jaguar fixtures needs to be update and the mesh net around the stone area shower needs to be changed, once you get the stone wet it gives off a weird smell. I think those needs to be replaced as well. And the place needs to have better sheets and regularly spray for insects. Overall I personally feel it’s too much for the stay the value should justify the maintenance as well. Which I felt was lacking. Food was just average

L'emplacement est incroyable, et l'offre de visite des backwaters en bateau est une superbe expérience. C'est reposant, calme, la piscine est très agréable et le personnel de cuisine très arrangeant

La propreté n'était pas au niveau d'un établissement de ce standing, peut être est-ce dû à la reprise de la saison touristique.

It is a good to go place for someone who wants to spend a quality time with family or with friends. Peaceful and calm. Staffs were very friendly and helpful.
