Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage Resort

Very supportive and courteous staff. Boat rides were great. Candle light dinner was superb.

Rooms could have been bigger for a family of 4. Dining space is small.

We loved this resort in the backwaters. The island, gardens and surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful, teeming with wildlife. The heritage cottage was gorgeous, the meals were delicious, the staff treated us so well and made our stay so special. We loved the backwater mini cruise the hotel put on and the nature walk with Redhu was wonderful. Fabulous swimming pool and Ayurvedic massage too and the pedalo was fun too.

What a beautiful, tranquil resort with amazing staff! I felt so well looked after and taken care of as a solo traveller and felt incredibly safe. The free boat ride in the resort grounds was the icing on the cake - just wonderful. There are so many activities available, and just sitting taking in the view from my porch at sunrise was one of the highlights and take aways I won't forget. The bathroom was lovely with the semi open air shower and the toiletries were great. By the way - the food was excellent, I had the best ever malabar meen curries here - I don't think it could be beaten! A big thank you to Sanoop and Sandeep. I loved everything about this place, and next time, I'd love to rest in one of the many hammocks dotted around the resort. Blissful! Thank you so much for everything! I will be returning :).
