Sahara Beach Aquapark

Could not find my reservation when the family arrived and the manager said he would keep my passport which I refused. Got sorted in few days... The toilet in my room was leaking, there was fungus in the loft in the bedroom. The mattresses where very old with holes in them and bed bugs. No TV in the room. The curtains in the apartment where so thin that around 06:30 in the morning room was too bright to sleep in. Horrible WiFi, the worst I have ever had. I complained the first 4 days but I literally got no help or explanation other than there were many people using the wifi at the hotel... Due to work I had to wake up at 03:30 at night to walk around and download documents on my mobile phone. Waiters in the restaurants are the worst I´ve ever had to endure. Their only duty to the customers is to bring them drinks as you get your own food. They are very aggressive regarding tips and if you don´t pay them to their liking, they get very rude and you get bad attitude afterwards. The waiter on my table was counting change in front of us. Why not just let them clean the tables. The swimming pools and slides are good but the security guards are not up to their tasks and busy doing other things than watching the children in the pools and slides. It must be said the female staff (when you find one) are nice, professional and speak good English. In general, the opposite applies to the male staff. The hotel is in serious need for quality management.

Sahara has everything you need for a fun beach vacation in Monastir. It's not the cleanest or most modern. This is not a luxury hotel by any definition but for budget considerations, it works nicely. It is very family oriented so there is probably more appeal for families than the solo traveler. Staff was extremely helpful. There was no TV in the room and beware the elevators. They don't always work and that can be a little frustrating if not scary.

Très bon séjour en famille. Le personnel est aux petits soins avec nous, c'est top. La clientèle russe n'est pas toujours agréable, avec un comportement très egocentré... Les plats servis au repas mériteraient d'être un peu plus variés, avec une montée en qualité (mais on est dans une consommation "de masse". Belles piscines, avec de l'ombre. Espace aquapark très bien pour les enfants. La plage est très sympa, avec des activités au Top : je vous recommande le parachute ascensionnel, le jet, la banane... avec Yahia et Medhi, à la base N°10. Ils sont cool et vous feront passer de bons moments ;-) . Nous avons testé les massages, et là aussi, c'est super. La visite de Sousse s'impose pour une immersion au coeur de la vie Tunisienne. Très sympa!

C'est un hôtel magnifique mais le personnel est incompétent (à part l'équipe d'animateur et le personnel du bar la caravelle ).fille d'attente interminable au moment des repas (30 minutes d'attente pour une pizza ou un beignet ).ceci est dû au manque de personnel, manque d'équipements.C'est dommage ! ! Au moment de rendre la chambre on m'a presque arraché les clés de la chambre de la main ni merci ni au revoir pas un mot . .on passe au client suivant. Des huissiers de justice à la réception.

Agreable ,mais le personnel doit être plus professionnel avec les client non étranger merci

Idéal pour les enfants

une douloureuse expérience que ces 10 jours passés dans cet hôtel. une population 40% russe, 30% tunisienne, 20% algérienne, tous affamés à remplir les assiettes à ras bord et en jetant plus de 3/4 tellement la nourriture est de mauvaise qualité et quotidiennement la même : pommes de terre à l'eau, riz blanc, frites dégoulinantes de gras, pâtes... les chambres sont vetustes, climatisation bruyante, absence de télévision, portes qui claquent. Les femmes de ménage ouvrent les portes sans frapper avant, font le ménage quand bon leur semble. l'accueil est incompétent et arrogant et ne tient absolument pas compte de nos réclamations. l'animation est en russe, touristes étrangers majoritaires, et malgré la bonne volonté de quelques animateurs, cela reste très pauvre. Seul point positif : la présence de la mer à proximité avec une plage propre et sécurisée, et de belles piscines avec principalement les toboggans pour enfants. une chose est sûre : je n'y retournerais pas et je n'inciterais personne à y aller !!!

Simply the worst ever. The hotel is far away from acceptable and mostly comparing to previous stays. Flys during the day and mosquito during the night lots of them. The animation very poor. I had to cancel my stay and change for another hotel.
