Excellent, much better than last time, friendly staff, food at the bar and hot water in the mornings

Nothing much to report. Didn’t love it or hate it. Bathroom in need of paint as peeling. Easy parking. Good size room but didn’t need sofa bed out. Restaurant was slow and too many items missing.

Room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Quite disappointing, stayed many time over the last 15years. Not sure if a change of management, but no hot water in the morning 2times out of 3, the one time I tried to eat in the evening there was no chef and no food. On check out there was no apology or recognition of the lack of hot water. Reminded me of the poor experiences at the Greene The breakfast team was the usual good service and no faults there !

Comfy and spacious room, which was clean and quiet. Big tv, nice shower, slightly dated but absolutely fine

For the 2 nights I stayed they didn’t do evening meals. I wasn’t informed of this until the first day of my stay. There was no remote for the TV, not that I watch a lot but it was awkward trying to change channels. The room was pleasant and the staff friendly

I would have appreciated it if the hotel informed on their blurb that te restaurant was closed because they don't have a chef. To make things worse the only other restaurant nearby was closed for the same reason. The nearest other pubs were also closed. Not funny when you had nothing to eat all day and am tired.

The room was ok but the smell of air freshener was overpowering and made you wonder what horror it was meant to conceal. The free WiFi was useless as it cut out every thirty seconds. It was provided through Sky cloud and required all sorts of personal information including date of birth. There was no mobile signal either so working from the hotel was impossible. Breakfast was extra £7.99 for instant coffee and a cooked breakfast, or £5.99 for instant coffee, white toast and coco pops.

The hotel was fine but unfortunately our evening meal was very poor with lots of things unavailable and long delays for our food.

Great location which I shall use again. Rooms are great for the money and an excellent breakfast. I would definitely recommend. Excellent choice of food and drinks. Only comment is that service was very slow but this could well be down to the current restrictions and new staff still learning the ropes. Staff were extremely friendly and the female manager whose name I didnt get was also excellent and on the ball.
