Feathers Hotel by Chef and Brewer Collection

No breakfast!!!

Th Feathers is a friendly local pub style property. Recently renovated. Great breakfast next door in the pub and great guy managing restaurant - known as the friendly scouser. Easy parking.

Nice pub, but some issues at check-in with missing keys. We ordered a starter in the restaurant which did not arrive. Service overall was slow but the food was decent. An urn fur hot water at breakfast sadly only provides lukewarm tea.

Everything good, room smelled a bit weird

Room was very good, had a quiet one at the back with no evening sun which meant on a hot night our room was cool. No aircon however two fans provided. Don’t bother with the full English, cheap, pleasant service, nice brown bread for toast but poor quality bacon and eggs, both poached and scrambled Get what you pay for.

Room quality was good. Excellent dinner although some waiting time. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel needs a new coat of paint and freshening up in areas. It has seen better days.

Very helpful and welcoming

This hotel and pub combo is a perfect place to stay. It was very clean and had everything you could need, including a big car park. The staff were very good too.

Shower was rubbish. Bed umcomfortable. Breakfast was terrible

The room was great, the bed was enormous & comfortable. My only gripe relates to the bar staff in the pub; I think there might have been a couple of new staff who were quite slow at serving customers but another young staff member who had obviously been there longer sorted them out. The food was great. I highly recommend the mussels starter.
