Feathers Hotel by Chef and Brewer Collection

This could have been 5* but c’mon guys; Instant coffee for breakfast? Quality stay, poor coffee means i will look elsewhere. HOWEVER, excellent member of staff offered to make me a fresh coffee, cost me £3.25 though. Even filter/drip coffee would have ticked a box. This hotel is better than a Premier, nice pub, comfortable room, nice breakfast but very poor coffee

A little run down or basic. Perhaps that is what 150 pounds gets you in today's market. Pub nice enough and breakfast was good. Parking good. Room had two shaded windows facing the back, you couldn't see out of them by design & I had a premier room (it was big enough, just in the corner in the dark)

Room was on the whoke clean, bed very clean and comfortable. Bathroom ok need little tlc but generally a good room and stay. Staff all very nice

Good. Room decoration a bit tired

I have stayed at the Feathers several times and find it to be very comfortable with nice and friendly staff. The only downside is that sometimes the bed doesn’t get made although I have advised the staff and hopefully this will be addressed. Also the free wifi isn’t satisfactory as it drops all the time. All in all, I would still be very happy to stay there again in the future. A big plus is the pub which serves great food.

Great stay, confy bed and all facilities you need. Loads nice hot water. Food good No complaints
