Southern Cross Atrium Apartments

The apartments are well located - 5 minute walk to Cairns Central shopping centre and train station (for easy access to Kuranda Scenic Railway) or 20 minute walk to The Lagoon on the Esplanades, Casino and Reef Fleet Port. There are plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets throughout the CBD which are within comfortable walking distance. Our apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen.

Our apartment was on 1st floor overlooking the car park. We were disturbed early every morning by noisy delivery trucks, rubbish collection trucks and noisy 4wheel drives arriving and departing. The heated pool was disappointingly too cool in the damp cool weather we experienced in June.

Lots of room and we had windows both sides. Loved the location

I had to buy shower gel but that’s ok

Brilliant facilities and proximity to shops plus the parking.

Superruim, modern, groot heerlijk balkon, volwaardige keuken, erg centraal voor eigen ritjes of tours, veel restaurants in de buurt (eigenlijk is alles op loopafstand ook de haven in 25 minuten) vlakbij groot winkelcentrum maar appartement superrustig, gratis parkeren voor de deur

Douchekop was wat krakkemikkig, vaatwasser zo nieuw dat rekjes er nog in moesten dus niet gebruikt maar dat is echt zoeken hoor

The view

Scaffolding around the balcony couldn't use it and thats what i requested and paid for. The usb charger didn't work had to be replaced. Miles from the esplanade and entertainment no buses or public transport so had to walk or catch a taxi everywhere.
