From it's proximity to Cairns Central Bus Station, to the 'After Hours' Welcome by the 'soon to retire' Scotty, the Southern Cross Atrium Apartments very much enhanced my five days in the City in every way ~ all Staff were kind and obliging with information upon my enquiring, the 'up on high' Apartment I was lodged in sizeable and complete in every want I had; the City Restaurants/Pubs/other Facilities , a short unhurried amble away, in the most pleasant approaching mid-winter temperatures...

T'would be a falsehood to suggest/acknowledge any faults...

Closeness to central shopping mall and 15mins to the Esplanade and all the eatery’s.

キッチン、洗濯機付きで良かった。

Access to pools x2 and was able to safely leave my bags at reception whilst tending to business. Very close to shopping complex and local amenities.

Please note there is no functioning sauna/steam room - oddly, I asked the reception one day and the lady there kept asking odd questions such as where I saw one (it's attached to the gym room) and said that it didn't exist. When I said that I had seen it with my own eyes, she changed tack and said it had been closed for many years. That's fine, but the grilling was really wild and I felt was in bad taste. Apart from that, the rooms were decent enough.

A limpeza estava excelente. As camas e almofadas eram confortáveis. Havia toalhas excedentes e material para lavar louça e limpar a bancada. A janela tinha rede mosquiteira, e uma varanda com vista de piscina. A localização é qb, pois é mesmo ao lado do centro comercial, com várias lojas e supermercado, e da estação central de comboios. Fica mais distante do porto e da esplanada e promenade, onde estão localizados os restaurantes mais badalados e virados para a água.

Apesar da limpeza, e da rede mosquiteira na janela, a localização é mais próxima da zona circundante da cidade e mesmo atrás da estação central de comboios, o que leva ao aparecimento de pequenas baratinhas. Pode ter sido da altura do ano, pois vamos entrar no inverno na Austrália, mas é uma zona tropical, com temperaturas médio - altas
