Picturesque pub in a great location by the river.

The hotel is in a lovely location by the river and in a picturesque area of thatched houses. The atmosphere and decor of the hotel was perfect. Our room although small was really good with its own ensuite including a bath. Everything was so clean to a very high standard indeed. Breakfast was lovely, so much to choose from and piping hot. Staff were super friendly, but Julia was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her. The history of this pub is amazing. I absolutely can recommend this hotel. I would stay there again for sure.

I like tge fact they did a take away breakfast box. The room was comfortable and warm and the location was set in beautiful place.

Great location. Very peaceful and rural.

The rooms are dated, could do with a better clean between people staying. There was a lot of dust and the shower screen wasn’t cleaned. The kitchen fans run until 22:00 and are really quite noisy.

Staff lovely, food good and location beautiful.

The breakfast was disappointing, no continental breakfast on offer as to early!!!..no coffee machine and a little understaffed.

Door to entrance was damaged too In need of some TLC cobwebs in room on suite very small room very cold radiator made noise throughout the night

Beautiful pub and excellent value for money. Small room but for the price there is no complaints . Comfortable and clean. We hAve visited many times over the years and never disappointed

Fantastic staff and a great location, good food and value for money

Bathroom was quite small but I think we had the smallest room, but at £55 I really couldn’t complain and certainly manageable, only other criticism it could possibly do with a room update
