Old Ferry Boat by Greene King Inns

It suited our purposes for a short stay, convenient for the event we attended. I liked the antiquity and history of the building. I am extremely grateful to whoever it was there who very kindly took the trouble to forward on to me through the post my personal diary which I had inadvertently left in the beside cabinet in our room. Many many thanks, you're a star! *

Our room though in a quiet part of the building was afflicted by noise from adjacent room or rooms from noise from water pipes or perhaps shower or toilet cistern during the night. It wasn't easy to contact the Inn when I had problem after we had left.

Ambience of the inn was very good

The duvet was thin. Better quality would make all the difference.

Staff and location excellent

Price of beer VERY high

The main bar areas were ok

The bedroom was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. The window and surrounding area was covered in dust, cobwebs with spiders. The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out. There was an inch of dust on the headboard. The bathroom was just about adequate

Great location , great pub , great food , plenty of parking

Need a make over but just about ok for the price

Lovely pub. Food was really nice. Had a good night's sleep and the staff were friendly.

The Bar, Food and staff were excellent , Location was superb - very peaceful . the car park was large and ell kept .

The rooms and breakfast area need a make over . The door at the top of the stairs was noisy - needs WD40 to get rid of the noise .
