"Classy smart public house"

Very clean throughout- a well presented pub/ restaurant. Dinner and breakfast, good choices, well presented and tasty- lovely pastries at breakfast. Bed so comfortable and decent bath with great water pressure. It was hot but there was a fan. Was a lovely one night stop over

Pub was shut by 10.30 and would have used the bar for a late drink if open. Coffee cups at breakfast very small

Clean, well presented and despite being next to a main road really quite.

Water pressure in the shower but I get it, bigger hotels do sometimes struggle getting water around the building. Nothing that ruins the stay though

No phone signal in hotel , unable to go ourside to call as door locked at 10.30 with no outside key provided. No told about lack of phone signal at reception on arrival.

The staff went out there way to make our stay unique it was my wife's birthday and they even pit a happy birthday banner in the room and a card a truly great stay

"This is a reasonably priced hotel, clean and comfortable"

Our room was clean and had plenty of mirrors, good lighting and a hairdryer. Plenty of towels. The bathroom had soap and shower gel fitted to the wall which was useful. Breakfast was very good. A nice selection for continental and cooked breakfasts. They have two electric car chargers which is very convenient.

The bathrooms are a little outdated and the shower was over the bath which I would have preferred a walk in shower. The rooms are a little small.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Stayed for download festival and had no problems but the last night I returned back to my room after 11pm and my door had been left unlocked by cleaners and all my windows left wide open. Quite unnerving as a solo female traveller. Otherwise a good stay.
