It’s old but beautiful, staff were friendly and helpful, the shower got stuck on hot, they promptly mended it. Have stayed a few times now, would always use this hotel if in the area again.

The area and grounds were nice and the main building looks impressive when you drive in but sadly inside the main building, bar area and the bedroom seemed a little run down. We had 1 meal in the bar area which was average.

We were in room No.38 which was a bit dated and had a few cob webs around the bedroom and bathroom windows. There was a smell of dampness when we went into the room.
