Location is great, I used to live in nearby Groby so very familiar with the area...great for Bradgate Park, my childhood haunt. Hotel was very comfortable with beds that I thought are better than a big name....

Had Steak, Sirloin with Crispy Calamari Starter, starter was fine - a little undercooked but ok. The steak? well, not cooked as I requested, was not fresh, not seasoned, and on the whole not very nice. Why is a good steak so hard to come by nowadays? You should be using local suppliers, fresh produce, if you can get a better supply locally and sell a good steak you will be busy everyday.....possibly the second worst steak I have had next to Beefeater. Nice Hotel though will stay again but will avoid the Steak and Calamari

Uncooked boiled eggs at breakfast on day one.easnt offers anything else Day 2 beans tasted funny..and scrambled eggs was served instead of fried.
