Fieldhead Hotel by Greene King Inns

Ambience.

Lazy staff. Some abrupt, others took our order and didn’t pass it on. We were waiting for 25 minutes, so enquired about the delay. The lovely girl (wearing glasses) behind the bar, was very apologetic and helpful. Some staff gathered, sitting around a table chatting, while we were waiting for coffee refills. Some breakfast items had run out at the buffet and were not replaced. I prefer a more continental rather than a cooked breakfast, so disappointed. Not impressed at all.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Quiet location.

What a shame the menu has changed, and chicken liver pate is no longer available! 😉

Clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Some noise from public areas and other rooms but only up to 11pm
