Spirit Hotel Ciudad de Burgos

We booked this hotel on our way to Spain because it was convenient and dog friendly. Unfortunately we were given a very dated old room with two single beds at the back of the hotel facing a noisy motorway. We ordered room servic for two meals and only received one. The family above our room kept us awake all night with children running around and waking up screaming at 4 am in the morning. I would recommend booking a room at the front of the hotel on our next stay. Good news is that the hotel price is very reasonable but has a very strange choice of menue that is value for money . There are lots is unusual statues around the hotel and grounds that should be sold on the Antiques Road Show to help update the hideous and dated decor. Also free car parking is a bonus.

Nice hotel to stop over when touring through Spain and near to all roads and also Burgos.

First class apart from the Hotel air con not working throughout the Hotel

Hotel good and convenient for stopover enroute to Santander. Two disappointments - I paid extra for parking only to find I had to pay another 10€ for under cover parking - what is that about? Also the breakfast was particularly poor - the staff even went to the cafe to get me a coffee as the coffee in the breakfast room was so poor - come on this is Spain you always get decent coffee here!

The hotel gets better each time we stay there . We have been staying there on and of for over 15 years . The restaurant has been redone it's so much better . And the food gets better each time we stay there . We had our young daughter with us so they put us in the new wing . Woooow it's so nice would put top London hotels to shame . It's clean smart . The staff are like family . Car parking is right there never a problem . The entrance to the hotel is wonderful full of fantastic things . The decor is wonderful . Over all this hotel marks out of 10 I would give it a 15 . With out a problem Also the room price is very good for what you get it's a good price . Keep up the good work

It was a lovely hotel which accommodated our dog with real friendliness. The position of the hotel right by the motorway was good and bad... Good because we could head of easily on our journey but we thought it was a little nearer somewhere we could walk. Our fault though not theirs. It was lovely overall and I would recommend them to anyone

Excellent friendly hotel. Large comfortable rooms and good food.

Very happy with this hotel, we were travelling with a small dog and we're made most welcome, dogs are not permitted in the restaurant, but we were able to have a meal in our room, there was a reasonable choice of dishes so it suited us well.

Conveniently located for overnight stop enroute from UK to southern Spain. Clean, warm and good value. Good bar and restaurant. Dog welcome but 10 euros supplement. Dogs not allowed in bar or restaurant. Free parking next to hotel.
