Lovely welcome great room nice friendly atmosphere, great menu choice and value for money.

Lovely comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was also lovely and staff very accommodating and welcoming.

We stayed two nights. Our room had no power on the first morning. The food on the second evening was very poor.

he hotel was clean, cool, excellent food and lovely staff. The approach to the Inn is unprepossessing but the waterfront is marvellous.

Good alround value

Plus good view, comfy bed. Evening food good value. Minus small bathroom, sitting sideways on loo! Tap wobbly. Lamp on desk kept collapsing. Difficult to work out how to use thermostat. Confusing times for breakfast, on receipt given was 7 until 9 am, in reality until 11am. Fresh fruit salad on breakfast menu, apparently now not available. Too long a wait for breakfast. Lack of hot water, coffee, orange juice and croissants if down for 9am. No instructions how to use toaster, often resulting in fire alarm going off. No staff around to ask. When did see staff, were pleasant.

Pleasant surroundings, nice view of river Trent. Food good at a reasonable price.

Room was small but had everything that we needed, and the telly was a decent size unlike some similarly priced hotel rooms. Breakfast was great, especially with a choice of meals. Unfortunately, the butter ran out on day 1 until our server scrounged some from the chef's stock. Yoghurts ran out on day 2, but no chance of scrounging extra supplies. Very good value for the price paid, and will return in the summer to do the river walk

One of the best small hotels i have wver stayed in! Food was fantastic; staff were lovely. 2 mins off a main A38 junction but quiet and tucked away with lovely gardens right next to the river. Already planning to take my parents when we next go and see family!!!
