Comfortable room & clean, no problems encountered & friendly staff, quiet location within couple of miles of the town centre Good value for the money

Lovely hotel with views over the river. Easy to park with comfortable, clean rooms. Good atmosphere in pub, free from annoying music and friendly staff. Meals excellent and good portions.

Very good overall stay. Breakfast very nice, freshly cooked Thought the room had a hairdryer but couldn't find it. A couple more coffee/sugar/milk would be better too

Room 20 is in need of a refurb, black mould round bottom of the shower cubicle,large damp patch on bedroom ceiling,shower cubicle leaked,walls all marked. On the plus side,bed was comfortable and the bar/restaurant areas were well decorated and comfortable, meals we had were very tasty and beer choice good, didn't stop for breakfast, went to nearby Morrison's, reason for this was nobody could provide us with a breakfast menu with prices on,we were room only. Parking wasn't a problem, would stay again, but just not in room 20

Staff were helpful, the room was small but clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing! I’m 6ft8 and didn’t have to stoop to shower!! Only negative is the WiFi didn’t work and even after multiple attempts to login it still failed.

The hotel, the setting, the room, the food was lovely. However there was one member of staff that was a proper jobs worth. We tried to book a table for the evening meal. He made a drama of that nearly booking in the wrong day and taking over from the girl doing the booking. We tried to check into the room at 13:53 and he made us go back to the bar till 2pm. He could have checked us in for the sake of 5 minutes im sure. He is definitely not an asset to the business.

Staff were really great, kind and helpful! Room was very cosy; sadly we didn’t have chance to eat at the restaurant but the food always smelt amazing. I’d recommend to ant couple looking for a nice getaway, especially with the chance to go on a nice walk around the river!

Good food very welcoming friendly staff great location,plenty free parking spaces,rooms comfy and clean nice view if your room faces the River.

Quiet room only small but it had all facilities, bathroom small but the shower was great. We enjoyed our stay.

We were only there one night but we had a good impression of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and good value.
