Staff were lovely! Such a warm group

It has nice character but the flip side is the rooms are a little old.

Breakfast was good value and atmosphere of pub was good

Couldn’t get any sleep till gone 1am in morning due to loud music and steep stairs to rooms.

Location is good for my visit. The pub is nice and cosy

The rooms are not looked after and they have not been updated in a long time.

Clean and well located

Bathroom was very small

The hotel block behind the pub itself was well laid out and easily accessible. Our room was larger than I was expecting, and was neat and tidy. The bathroom was clean, but could do with an upgrade. The food in the pub itself was excellent and very reasonable in price.

On our first night there was an issue with the water in our room. The cold supply kept cutting out and it caused an issue with the shower in particular. I will say that the staff members went above and beyond to try to sort it out, and were very apologetic about the problem. It was all sorted out by the time we returned the following day.

Comfortable bed nice food

No water for tea, or shower. Staff were very understanding and gave me free breakfast and refunded my fee. Very satisfied at the end. Food in restaurant, good home cooked food
