The Coleshill by Greene King Inns

Food was very nice we had an evening meal

We stayed in the building opposite and the room was very old and dilapidated, sheets stained, wardrobe falling apart, headboard flaking bits on to bedding, window and frames rotten, floors dirty and bathroom held together with more mastic than anything else. Desperately needs a refurbishment. I’m not even sure it met basic health and safety regulations.

Staff that I did see were friendly.

Too noisy and hot so difficult to sleep. Very basic room. No one on reception to ask for teabags or milk to be replaced.

They had booked us a top floor room but due to my husband mobility issues it was unsuitable. The staff were brilliant they found us a different room, the room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We had a evening meal which was lovely and so was breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
