"Loved every thing about our stay, perfect for what we needed."

Brilliant 1 night stop. Stayed in a lovely room (154) full of character with oak beams and quirky windows, creaky floorboards and squeaky doors which gave it a wonderful charm all of it's own. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfy. Loved it. The food in the restaurant was very good, we had a lovely evening meal and a very good breakfast as well.

Room was a little noisy being on the main road but not enough to disturb your sleep and a blind would be useful for the roof window if you didn't want an early sunlight wake up.

Staff helpful

The bathroom was a real issue with big rusty spots on the bathtub, mild and dirt on tiles and silicon. We only wanted some place to sleep so worked OK for us.
