Radisson Hotel Fort St John

excellent service and very quiet place.

This place is a dump! Spend the extra $40 and stay at the RAMADA up the road! Staff at front desk wouldn’t allow my husband to check in without me there, even though I was on the phone approving it! They have rooms that are closed off and have “DO NOT OCCUPY”WHY? My guess bugs or something toxic. TRUST ME STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP

The property is nice, the staff are excellent, had to wait a extra 15 minutes for my room to be ready after check in time but that wasn't to bad. They are very busy here. Avery Shoaf stayed here during my stay as well so that was pretty cool!!

The room is ok for the price. The hotel is a bit dated. The breakfast is really minimal. There were a few sausages left at 6:30. No bacon was served. Very tiny pancakes. Only overcooked hardboiled eggs. No fruit, no yogurt, no muffins or baked goods. Most guests were working men, pretty skimpy breakfast for them to start off their day.

Very nice place ,quiet and in walking distance to alot of things

I stay in hotels for work around 12 days per month and have for over 3 years. This is the first hotel that charged me 50.00 for dirty towels …. They charged my card at 1 am probably thinking I wouldn’t notice but I did. Was told Manager would call me after weekend and have heard nothing . Unacceptable

The towels were stained. Ceiling in bathroom falling.Extra charges on my card.

I liked the layout of the room, outdoor entrance, the lighting

-At check in the property mngr was trying to get me to pay more even though i used booking.com because he couldnt find the reservation. He was very demeaning as well, I was trying to pay the rediculous charges and deposits for my pets and he pushed my money back at me although we were half way thru a our checkin. -The a/c was rattling loudly, -Extremely overcharged pet deposit -I locked myself out the rm after 11pm and staff needed to come use master key but on the way to the rm a drunk person started following me and tried to come into my rm and the staff just walked away. I felt unsafe. -there was nowhere for my dogs to go out to pee within vicinity -an extremely ear piercing fire alarm went off at 4am scaring me and startling us all, the dogs were in agony as we all were for over 25 min. My husband called the front desk, found out it was thru the whole bldg, she could shut it off, but she was not going to. -my husband was the only one who could access the rm with the key, I couldn't get it to work not once, bad locks on door -apon check out, they checked the rm, then came back and said they were charging us 50 for dogs to the sheets and towels. There was a smudge of eye make up that would come out in the wash and a yellow stain on the bed. When we asked which bed they found that in, to our horror, it was in the bed we did not sleep in, she said the bed by the A/c and we slept in the bed by the bsthroom, the sheets were not even pulled back on that bed and our dogs sleep in the kennel and not with us on the beds. This stain was absolutely NOT from us! When we had told the property mngr this was not our error but in fact theirs, he still 'stole' my money refusing to give me back my full deposit.this an absolute mistake choosing this hotel.

Don't let the lobby fool you! The lobby is nice and looks fairly new. Once you get to the rooms you realize how tired and outdated the hotel is.
