Hillbrook Inn & Spa

I was on a family history tour, and the stay there just fit in with the feel of what I was doing. The buildings were old (as hoped for), but beautiful, charming and well maintained. I loved the little quirks in the path to get to the dining area. I stayed in one the homes off the main site. The map made finding the place easy. I was very comfortable in the room, drinking coffee in front of the fireplace. The dinner was phenomenal, though a bit pricey. However, for the experience it was well worth it. I told the server Jade that I was going to divorce my spouse, marry the chef and get big. :)

We stayed in the Serenity suite. It was quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. Everything was wonderful. The only thing I would have changed, would have been to offer a more varied breakfast. We didn’t partake because the menu seemed limited but it was included so no worry. There are also a few different coffee shops nearby to chose from as well.

The Hillbrook Inn & Spa was wonderful. We stayed in the historic Hawthorne House and it was very peaceful and everything was beautiful. The perfect place for a romantic get-a-away! We loved the in-room fireplace and comfortable furniture. Breakfast at the Inn was fabulous and the service and friendly staff were wonderful. It was perfect for us.

The room was outdated but we had a nice time.
